Live++ Developer: Confident A Rust Version Might be Possible
Live++ is a hot-reload implementation for C and C++, meaning that you can recompile and replace parts of your code without restarting the application (leaving all state in place). It has been used by many commercial companies, most notably it has been integrated into Unreal Engine.
Today, its developer posted on Twitter that he is looking into a Rust adaptation:
Rustaceans, #rustlang & #llvm folks: I dabbled around with #rust a bit, and if somebody can land the LF\_BUILDINFO (https://reviews.llvm.org/D80833) and S\_OBJNAME (https://reviews.llvm.org/D43002) changes into main LLVM, I'm confident I could use that to build LiveRust - hot-reload for Rust!
