svg2pdf converts SVGs to PDFs (duh)
Hey, everyone, we are working on a WASM-ready typesetting engine and we think supporting SVG is essential (Google Docs begs to differ).
However, it turns out that converting an SVG file into PDF is harder than one might think, especially in a pure Rust code base! So we went ahead and built svg2pdf which converts your SVGs to PDFs (standalone or embeddable XObject) without rasterizing anything. It supports most static SVG features except filters. The crate is based on RazrFalcon's usvg.
A CLI is in the works but I'm still not sure about what (if any) argument parser to use and how that will interact with the crate's features.
While our core project is (still) private, we've already made a few other libraries public. If all of this catches your interest, feel free to subscribe to our mailing list, which will have updates some time in future (not yet).
