How Have I Lived Without "let-else"?
I don't know how much people know about this, but this RFC is awesome. It can currently be enabled on nightly compiles with the feature flag #![features(let_else)] and I don't know how I handled errors without it. It lets you right stuff like:
let Some(captures) = regex.captures(line) else {
bail!("Cannot match {}", line)
};
Which to me is super ergonomic and natural. It's particularly helpful when the "?" operator is invalid, like for Option types. Anyone else excited by this, or does it solve a problem only I have and everyone else is in error handling heaven.
