Iterate over Integer // Calculate digit sum

Hey, how would I calculate the sum of all digits of a integer (i32 for example). Given is an integer like 255 and I am looking for the cross total - which would be 2+5+5 = 12 in that example. I was hoping to use map() and iter() but apparently that is not defined for i32. Any ideas for a similar short solutions?
