GraphQL and Rust - what's the current state of the art?
I'm working on a project to cache some GraphQL queries in a CDN. The way I intend to do that is to parse the query, break it down into a number of smaller queries (basically one for each field in the query that is not a primitive type or an enum), execute those smaller queries as GET requests (so the CDN will cache them), then reassemble the whole shebang into the results of the original GraphQL query.
My questions:
- Is there something that I'm overlooking in this plan? I'm still pretty new to Rust and GraphQL.
- What Rust crates would you recommend to help with this? I'm currently using apollo_parser to parse the queries and graphql-introspection-query to parse the schema. I'll execute the individual GraphQL requests using graphql_client.
