Would people, with Rust jobs, be comfortable sharing their salaries?

For anyone who missed it, Jon's latest Q&A stream, there was a question about his salary at AWS. He disclosed his TC to be just below $300k.

For someone of his caliber, hired to work specifically on Rust tooling inside AWS, I was honestly expecting more.

Similar salaries are common for people doing less impactful work at FAANG, working with fairly established tech stacks with an abundance of talent experienced with those tech stacks.

For experienced Rust engineers, where demand is significantly higher than supply, I was expecting Jon to be making way more at AWS, if not in terms of base salary, at least RSUs/Bonuses.

Would we benefit from publicly sharing salaries of those of us hired as Rust devs to work specifically with Rust?
