Benchmarking relational data in BonsaiDb, a Rust-native NoSQL database
Over the past 9 months, we've been building BonsaiDb. It's a NoSQL database written in Rust, for Rust that is designed to grow with you. It already has a lot of features, but is still considered experimental at this time.
Over the past week, I've been benchmarking the ACID-compliant storage layer, and for the first time comparing it against PostgreSQL. I submitted it to This Week in Rust, and was planning on posting here last night, but I wasn't happy with the display of my graphs. I've finished fixing a few legibility issues with the histograms this morning.
I was very happy with the results of my benchmarks, which I've attempted to be as fair as possible in doing.
We are excited to reach alpha soon. I am happy to answer any questions!
