Rust as a computing programming language
Hi!
I wanted to ask something:
With the increasing popularity of Rust, there are more users using it for numerical software. I wondered what are the shortcomings of using Rust for that application type versus more specific ones like Julia or even C++/Python which are used often. (And not asking about library support, but more about features like generic functions, 128-floats etc.\[though I think real 128 bit float is only possible on a 128 machine like one from IBM, right? the others are structs\]).
Thank you!
