Do you think Rust is a good fit for a simple CRUD API?
Hello, I'm a student passionate of backend development, I work primarily with Nodejs and Golang, and recently I fell in love with a lot of Rust concepts like ownership and error handling which I miss in Go.
I started building a CRUD API in Rust with actix web 4 beta and sqlx, and while I'm enjoying the learning experience, I started asking myself if Rust is even a good language to do this, because even if there are resources and libraries to build a full API, I can't help but feel that I'm using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
So I wanted to ask the opinion of the community here, do you think Rust is or will be beneficial to do simple REST APIs? or is it best to use it for critical performance/memory safety services?
