The Rust Programming Book is not good for Beginners?
I just started to read The Rust Programming book. I am new to programming but want to learn Rust, however, I read this in the introduction:
This book assumes that you’ve written code in another programming language but doesn’t make any assumptions about which one. We’ve tried to make the material broadly accessible to those from a wide variety of programming backgrounds. We don’t spend a lot of time talking about what programming is or how to think about it.
As you can imagine, this worried me a bit.
Is there a better introductory book for Rust or Rust is just not a good first programming language to learn?
I really want to learn Rust, any advice would be great!
Thanks!
