Duplicate 0.4.0 released: Now with more nesting
I'd like to announce version 0.4.0 of the duplicate crate.
About: duplicate provides macros that allow you to avoid repetition. Instead of copy-pasting some Rust code and then editing a few places, duplicate can make copies for you and insert different code in the key places for every copy. See the documentation for more details.
This update comes with some breaking changes that were all geared towards allowing nested invocations to be usable in all positions. This opens up even more possibilities for substitutions. However, the breaking changes include renaming the macros, so expect to need to take care of that when updating from an older version.
Also, a updated MSRV policy should make dependency conflicts less of a thing.
Got a question or feature request? Feel free to either drop a comment or open an issue. The changes to this crate are mostly a result of feedback from users (which is much appreciated.)
As of this release, all outstanding requested and imagined features have been addressed. So unless more feedback uncovers new needs, the plan is to release a version 1.0 next.
