What is missing for Rust > C ?
Most features on Rust are compile time checks, but internally it reserves the rights for moves and struct rearrangements. But when benchmarking Rust vs C, Rust usually falls (barely but still) short.
Why is that so ? Is it that safe-equivalent C would be much slower to begin with, and broken-C is faster but just cheating ? Rust has a much more expressive type system, which should help the optimizer to optimize out specific cases, no ?
