Simple plotting/graphing crate suggestions

Hi guys and gals,

I am searching for a crate to plot some data. Ideally with a simple imperative api like matlab or pythons matplotlib. The plot does not have to be pretty, but as simple as possible to create.

I basically want something along the following syntax:

fn main() {
    let x_data: Vec<f64> = get_x_data();
    let y_data: Vec<f64> = get_y_data();
    let mut p = crate::plot(x_data,y_data);
    p.show();
}

I already looked at

• egui+eframe
  • Need to create explicit contexts
  • Too complicated
• plotting
  • The basic example for a line-plot does not show or save a plot for me
  • Seems to be abandoned (?)
• plotlib
  • Seems to generate only files instead of a window
