rust actually made me read source code
for context, i graduated high school only recently, so, with that level of experience, you'd understand that i was frightened and intimidated to venture into the source code of any project of serious size (above ~10k lines of code)
but, more and more often, i find myself clicking the [src] button in docs.rs, to get some clarification on the documentation, see best practices on how ppl implements stuff, et cetera
i'm not sure if this is because of docs.rs, rust's well thought-out module structuring paradigm, generally recent and less cursed code-bases, or most likely a combination of all of the above, but in any case, this is something i noticed about myself, and i was wondering whether anyone has experienced this
it just makes me feel that the of pain/cumbersomeness around a language comes not from the language itself, rather from the tooling around it, with which rust apparently has done a good job, making diving into foreign projects more smooth and enjoyable
