Announcing Audio Limiter: automatically lower the volume of loud sounds on your computer in real-time

Just made a readme on the GitHub page, so most relevant information is there, but tl;dr: I use earbuds and hate when I'm watching a stream or on voice with someone and there's a loud noise / scream / whatever and it hurts my ears. I want those loud peaks to be quieter as to not deafen me momentarily when they occur.

I looked for alternatives but the best I could find was Voicemeeter Banana but not only is it extremely overwhelming to learn and use, but I couldn't even get it working (issues with static and robotic sounds). So I started working on this yesterday because I want this for my own use. Something simple that I can just run in the background casually.

In fact, me posting here and making it open-source is entirely selfish because this program barely works as-is, so I was hoping I could bait someone into helping out. I don't really know anything about Rust, digital audio processing, creating GUIs, etc., but I do really want this program for my own use.

Anyways, check out the readme for more details if you're interested. I am pretty desperate for help because occasional loud sounds in my earbuds really bother me and I want to get rid of them.
