Hi fellow Rustaceans!

Yesterday we released a very exciting version of Zellij \- the Rusty terminal multiplexer. Aside from many bug and usability fixes, it includes some really nice features:

  1. Edit terminal pane scrollback in your default $EDITOR - to search, copy or save it for later
  2. Compact UI mode - in case you already know the keyboard shortcuts and would like to save some screen real-estate
  3. Handy tips at runtime

You can read the full announcement here: https://zellij.dev/news/edit-scrollback-compact/
You can find the release directly here: https://github.com/zellij-org/zellij/releases/tag/v0.30.0

The $EDITOR feature in this release was contributed by the community to help scratch an "I will migrate from tmux if you just have this one feature" itch. I'm personally very receptive to those, because I think listening to users (and potential users) is the best way to improve a tool. So if you have such an itch, hit me up and we'll see what we can do. :)
