Rust and Wasm vs Javascript
I tried to implement a simple verlet physics engine once with rust and wasm-pack and once with pure javascript. Both use a brute force approach for collision detection and 8 sub steps per frame. Also i used p5.js for both sketches. The left sketch is with rust, the right one with js. The js one starts struggeling hard from 450 particles up, while the rust one easily goes beyond 1400+. I dont know why i am posting this tbh i just thought it was interesting.
