Do Rust dependencies get nasty like JS or Python?

I'm learning Rust and I love it. Something I really love is that I have never had some weird nightmare loop wasted on a hellish web of dependencies.

I remember many-a-hour lost to Python and Node because of weird dependency evil magic. But Rust? Rust is so nice. Cargo is my best friend.

I'm wondering if this is just because I am just a beginner who has yet to trip on something weird, or if Rust really does solve away the dependency hell? Experienced rust devs, what are your thoughts?
