A short tail about my early experience with Rust
Hello Rustaceans! I'm coming in peace from the land of Python.
For the past few weeks I've been kinda contemplating which language I should dive in next: Rust or Go.
Having a background in Python and Typescript/JS, I want to still write with a syntax close enough to the languages mentioned.
I started with GO. Just a simple app. It really annoyed me. I get the concept. But the language is dogone ugly to me. I stayed away and continued with my Python.
Then I checked out Rust. I've heard from many (youtubers, articles, etc), that Rust is difficult. I said let me still see.
And to my surprise, I felt very comfortable with it so far. Yes some new stuff here and there, that's expected. But the syntax and language, IMHO, seems more welcoming. And some native methods, kinda make it easy, when dealing with data.
Now, is there something I'm doing wrong? How come I don't find it hard? How come, even though Go seems preferred by a large group, Rust feels more like home (Python/JS). What's wrong with me?
Here's the documentation I'm learning from:

Anyway... I'm liking it so far and I'm ready for the best! I'm planning on making a document database system. Right now, I'm learning.
