kanata v1.0.5: an advanced keyboard remapper for Windows+Linux
I'm pleased to announce v1.0.5 of my Windows+Linux keyboard remapper: kanata.
If you know of QMK or kmonad then you're already familiar with the use case of this project. If you haven't heard of those, a short description of what kanata does is:
Add remapping, layers, and multi-use keys to improve the usability and comfort of typing on any keyboard.
There is a demo video as well.
In my previous post for this project, its name was still "ktrl (rename pending)". Since then, some notable features that were added are:
- Windows support
- one-shot keys
- tap-dance keys
- left, right, middle mouse clicks
