Is it wise to start your career as a Rust developer?
I am currently hunting for my very first full-time job after finishing my master's in Computer Science. Somehow I managed to get an interview for a position as a Rust developer in a small company doing 100% open source work. On paper, this position sounds like a perfect fit for me. However, I'm wondering - is it wise to start a career in IT as a Rust developer? Given that it might be - at least at this point in time - quite challenging to find another position as a Rust developer in the case I have or want to switch jobs. Am I worrying to much, or would it be wise to focus on a more commonly used tech stack? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
EDIT: Thank you all for your valuable input!
