What is the difference between associated types and generics?
My question is why have these two things at the same time?
Are there things that generics can do that associative types can't?
It seems that associated types are more flexible than generics, can generics be considered as a shorthand syntax for associated types?
struct Point<T> {
x: T,
y: T,
}
struct Point {
type T,
x: Self::T,
y: Self::T,
}
