Is it conveninent to make cross-platform GUI softwares using Rust now?

I don't do this kind of programming generally. But I want to start a small project to make a personal journal and agenda software running on my cell phone and desktop.

The thing come to my mind is Dart and Flutter, which may fit all my needs. But I felt don't want to learn a new language and framework only for an occassional project.

Is there anything similar to that going on in Rust? Any promising ones? Thanks.
