Why does Rusts testing tools seem so much less polished compared to its other tooling?

An important aspect we love Rust for is it's tooling. The community built lots of highly polished tools to makes developers life easier - Cargo, Rust analyzer, Clippy, Tokio and so on.

Seem to me that a crucial part of modern development not up to par - the test tools. Compared to other ecosystems (pytest, rSpec, Jest, etc.), Rust testing is very simplistic. The feature I miss most is test setup and teardown - both global, and before/after each test. Another example is custom assertion. assert!, and assert\_eq! are far from what other test frameworks offer.

Are you satisfied from Rusts testing tools?
