Is Rust worth it for non low-level applications
I've been playing and learning Rust for a while and I like the modern approach, however, I realized that it is indeed safe and secure, you need to write a lot of code when you work with something that isn't an embedded device or similar, and where the data is dynamic, like a web server.
This made me wonder what the community thinks about this. For example, let's say we build a web server or some other API, where there is a lot of dynamic data, is it even worth it writing Rust for such an application? Is it like using a hammer to put a screw down, you can, but why would you, the same thing as using c++ as a REST API server, you can, but there are better options.
Would like to hear some unbiased opinions.
