pgx is awesome: introducing pg_idkit

pgx is going to/already revolutionizing the postgres ecosystem and it's awesome.

Using pgx made it dead simple for me to write pg_idkit which is an extension that makes some more exotic UUID generation strategies (Timeflake, CUID, UUIDv6-8, etc) available to Postgres instances. It's still a WIP but I don't think I would have been able to get started so quickly without it (and the DX is awesome).

Being able to write postgres extensions in Rust and leverage and link the ecosystems on both sides has been amazing.

For those who aren't quite so familiar with Postgres feel free to peruse post I wrote for Supabase about it around this, but wanted to show the Rust ecosystem as well!
