The official documentation is so good it makes me sad.
So I'm picking up Rust and it's making me feel things.
Have you ever read, I don't know, Nabokov or Pynchon or [insert your favorite author here] and felt a bit sad, because you knew that you could never, ever hope to write something as beautiful as what you were reading?
The Rust docs give me that feeling as someone who occasionally has to write technical things. It's mathematically correct and clear and not remotely boring. It has a clear style without the style getting in the way. Every code snippet has a thoughtful, quaint example to use that hasn't already been done a million times. It even uses Source Serif Pro, which is objectively the best open-source serif font. There's nothing at all that I want to improve on. It's just not fair.
Anyway, back to fighting the borrow checker.
