I built a Zoom clone 100% IN RUST
I wanted to learn how to do video and audio streaming in RUST so I built it.
Conclusion
It is possible to build such system 😄 and it is damn awesome.
Stack
- Server: Actix Web
- UI: yew
- messaging: protobuf + WebSockets
- Video Encoder: vp8 & vp9
- Audio Encoder: RAW, ogg
