Well, hello there everyone. You probably don’t remember me or my post on this sub…
…but I came here some months ago when I accidently stumbled on this subreddit looking for the sub r/playrust . I became fascinated with the subreddit for a bit, and became interested in the coding aspect of it, and asked for advice.
Only problem was that I didn’t have a computer that I could learn to code with.
That is most likely changing within the next few months, as I am finally going to be able to get a decent one. And I am excited for it.
The reason I’m back here is because I had an underlying guilt of asking for advice even when I didn’t have a way to code, and it’s been chewing me up from time to time.
I want to change that. So, when I get my computer, once I get over the fact that I can play many more games and have a higher frame rate than 60 FPS, I am going to try to brave learning Rust, or at least first a predecessor language, and then Rust.
Any last minute advice for me and tips for Rust/coding in general? Thank you everyone! I can’t wait to make things hard on myself 🤣
