Just published my first Rust crate, rnltk, a crate designed for NLP
As nervous as I was actually publishing my first crate, I'm way more nervous to post about it on here. I've seen a lot of awesome work from this community, so it was a difficult decision to share here knowing how it measures up against a lot of the more knowledgeable Rust developers.
That being said, I am hoping the people on this sub can give me some constructive feedback on ways to improve so that this crate can be useful to others.
Right now, rnltk can do the following:
- sentiment analysis of terms with valence and arousal levels
- Porter stemming
- basic tokenization of strings
Ideally, I'd like to expand it a lot more so that it can handle
- topic clustering
- term-document frequency matrices
- sentiment negation
