Using Rust as my Backend

Hey fellow rusters (is that a thing?),

i am a web dev by job and fiddle around with some private projects in my free time. I have a simple Website (just frontend right now) with no "real purpose" other than learning. My frontend consits of basic html, css, Js (jquery).

Lately i started programming with rust, just for fun some console programs.

Now i've heard of actix and thought maybe i could use that to build my backend for my website. Is that possible and if yes, do you have some nice tutorials or documentation?

The idea is just to save some data to the backend and maybe process them and then send it back to frontend. Maybe with a database to store stuff idk. Its mainly for learning purposes (since i am still an unexperienced developer in most aspects) and because i think rust is much fun.

At work we use Spring, so i know that. But i never set up a backend my self.
