[MEDIA] Fast-QR [v0.5.1] - An optimized QRCode Generator

Hello Rustaceans 🦀,

We have been working on our QRCode crate with a friend since September 2021. We wanted to learn about QRCodes and try to implement a QRCode generator. So we did.

  • fast_qr is production ready.
  • Does not use any external dependencies.
  • Compiles to WASM with helper functions to use it properly. (npm.js package can be found here)
  • Generates SVGs and intends to use resvg to generate the images (as a crate feature).
  • Is heavily tested throughout the computation pipeline.

We used Criterion to bench my crate to qrcode and it is approximately 7-9 times faster.
