Just started learning Rust - I'm surprisingly terrible at it ? :P

So I started learning Rust, and I really, really love the compiler, cargos, decencies. Wow, it just feels so tight, hard to explain. I have background in Java, Python, and C++. For some reason I feel really strange when using this language. I'm not sure why, but Python, Java and C++ seem to feel much more similar than Rust does to any other language I've used.

Like, the match keyword, some of the .expect() unpacking, it feels foreign to me for some reason, as if I had almost no background in programming at all.

Did you guys feel that way also?
