I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this, but I just suck at programming
I really just wanna be a good programmer, I've been trying for so long (over a year) but I just can't do anything for the life of me. I'm not done or anything, I'll keep going forever because I do love it, but god damn, it's like I'm hitting my head on a wall over and over again trying to break through to where all these amazing people are. People who've been at this for less time than me have wildly succeeded and have jobs in the industry where as I can't even figure out how to work out a percolation problem. I can't even get my foot in the door of applying a simple algorithm in a practical way. I'm not jealous of people who are doing better than me, I'm infinitely happy for them, but I am critical of my own shortcomings in relation to them. I want to be better and better, and I'll keep working at it, but I wish I just had something to show for all the time i've spent ya know?
