Rust GUI framework

I’m starting a rust project that needs a GUI. It’s a CAD like software that I would like to commercialise.

For now I need a desktop application, but in the future I would like to make a web version as well. So which which route should I take?

I need standard gui elements, but also my own Open GL or web gl element.

So far I looked at egui and iced.

Egui seems easy to use but, it concerned about it doing layout on each frame update. I seems to be flickering when the window is resized and the cpu usage goes up.

Iced seems to be very responsive and with steady layout.

Should I look at other frameworks?
Should I prefer wgpu over OpenGL?
Should I make the frontend in pure html/javascript and make a backend for the rest?
