[Blog post] When Rust hurts

Today is Valentine's day, the perfect occasion to express my feelings about the language I've been using for over three years with great success. Coming from a hardcore C++ and Haskell background, I was pretty confused at the start of this relationship: Rust didn't allow me to do all the dirty low-level C++ tricks or Haskell's mental gymnastics! Back then, I started collecting notes to cope with my confusion, and today I publish the best of those as a blog post.

I deliberately avoided subjective topics, such as syntactic decisions and tooling.
