What can I use Rust for as a Data Scientist

So I’m a data scientist mostly working with Python, R and SQL through AWS. I recently started learning Rust, mostly to better understand low-level programming as my tech stack has been pretty high level so far, but I was wondering whether there are any scenarios where Rust might be useful for Data Science. My work sometimes involves data engineering stuff like connecting two databases through AWS lambda, does it have any benefits over python in this regard? Sorry, for beginner question, I’m really early into learning Rust.
