Announcement: the Diatom programming language v0.6.0.alpha

Hello, fellow rust users! I am happy to announce the Diatom programming language, a lua alternative written purely in Rust. This is originally developed as my hobby project with my friend but since then many features have been added so I felt it is high time to finally release it.

Diatom focuses mainly on security, usability and performance. By default program can not interact with outer world(such as read time&file, print to stdout and etc) without host program's explicit permission. Diatom allows host program pass any data structures and closure as modules which can be imported and called in diatom safely thanks to Rust's memory safety guarantee. Diatom currently is compiled to bytecode and executed by a highly optimized virtual machine which can achieve close to lua's performance.
