Rust state management pattern (like Tauri, Axum & Bevy)

In Tauri you can call manage() on the Builder so it will manage the state of your app for you. It will then somehow match it with a command function which has the same type as an argument. I've seen this pattern in Axum and in Bevy as well. Looking into these codebases doesn't make it clear to me what this pattern is called and how it works exactly. Is there some article or something that I can read to familiarize myself with this pattern?
