How to make career transition from FE development to system development with rust?

Hey Rustaceans

Don’t know if it’s right place to post but here u go

The title says it all, I’m currently a FE dev, have 5 years of experiences. After I discovered rust I just fell in love with it, and I’m starting to learn, I have a cegep degree(here in Quebec I think it’s similar to college?, not university bachelor) in computer related degree (3 year), I’ve learned some c++ and c#, but I decided to start my career with web dev and learned js and reactjs now I’m doing pretty good. (Also I’m doing my bachelor in computer science at the moment, it’s my second year) But I want to learn more, and I want to not just do web dev forever, wanna do some low level languages and system programming stuff! So I started learning rust with “programming with rust” book, and I’m just wondering if any of y’all took similar path and how did u do it? And helpful tips will be appreciated!

Also I think that rust is not widely used in companies at the moment but I can see that this will change pretty quickly, and as more company adopts more opportunity will be made available! (Or correct me if I’m wrong here)
