WhatsApp releases new key transparency crate AKD in Rust

WhatsApp is adding public key transparency technology for end-to-end encrypted messaging and released the core logic as open-source. Engineering blog post

Auditable Key Directory (akd) is a new Rust crate to manage a centralized auditable key directory which can scale to billions of users for a transparency solution. It is published on crates.io as akd for all to use!
