g3proxy get open sourced after 3 years of production usage

g3proxy is a rust based generic forward proxy we developed at bytedance in the past 3+ years. We deployed it in production environment 3 years ago, with 0 regressions and 0 coredumps found while still keeping a mothly granular update frequency. The L4 performance is near like nginx, but the L7 performance is better as we have less functionalities need to support. Give it a try if you are currently using squid but without the need for its cache functionality.
