Where to ask super beginner Rust questions

I'm a professional C and Python dev, but an absolute beginner in Rust. I'm trying to learn some basics, but even the simplest things appear difficult to me right now.

For example, initializing an array in which I want to read a binary file into:

const BUFSIZE: usize = 128;
let mut buffer:\[u8; BUFSIZE\] = \[ 0; BUFSIZE \];

Is what I'm doing right now but believe it to be very inelegant and hate the boilerplate. I've tried

let mut buffer: \[u8; 128\] = \[0; buffer.len() \];

Which I find to be nicer (although still very explicit, I'm used to zero-initing arrays of arbitrary size by using {0} in C), but doesn't work.

Obivously, I'm using Google:

https://www.reddit.com/r/rust/comments/9n22qs/how\_to\_zero\_initialize\_a\_static\_array/

https://www.joshmcguigan.com/blog/array-initialization-rust/

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/69444896/how-to-pad-an-array-with-zeros

But nothing provides a single, easy initialization line in which I only have to type the numbers of elements (128 here) once. I find it quite inelegant to have to change multiple code locations in an identical fashion.

I believe this might be because the obvious answer is SO obvious to you Rust people that they don't bother? So my question is, where is a safe space in which I can ask absolutely ultra rookie questions without being beat to death?
