Boilerplate, a text template engine using Rust syntax, has reached 1.0!
Boilerplate is a Rust text template engine that uses Rust as the template language. This means that you don't need to learn a new template language, all features of Rust are available, templates are statically checked, and any value with a Display implementation can be used in a template.
Boilerplate can be used with boilerplate::Boilerplate, a derive macro, which provides a Display implementation, with the template stored in a separate file, or boilerplate::boilerplate a function-like macro, which allows providing the template text in-line.
Boilerplate has been successfully used in production for a few months now with excellent performance and no major changes, so it seemed like as good a time as any to release 1.0.

Boilerplate was very fun to write, and turned out to have a very high bang-to-buck ratio. Without tests, it's only 360 lines of code, the implementation is extremely straightforward, and the macro output is simple and easy to understand and debug.
