Getting started with computer graphics with Rust

Hello, I'm willing to dive into computer graphics using, of course, Rust.

I'm not new to Rust, but totally new to CG and I don't know where to start. My intentions are real time rendering in 3D and UIs, I suppose both require familiarity with a graphics API and shaders.

I started with wgpu tutorial (https://sotrh.github.io/learn-wgpu/) since I like the idea of portability and it's a Rust-first library, but it seems I'm missing some foundations of how CG works in general: the code is given, a little of explanation like it assumes I already know something, maybe I'm wrong, but I wish there was a longer explicit version.

Are there any other resources to start with wgpu with no prior knowledge of graphics, or should I start with opengl maybe and then it's will be easy to switch? Or any other advice, thank you
