I don't understand why I can't find a job as a "Junior Rust Developer\

Hello!

I've been working at my current place for 1.5 years now, starting with 1C (framework for business apps, comparable to SAP). When I started, my boss saw me as an intern, but quickly realized that I'm actually very capable and have a descent knowledge and understanding of programming, as it's been my hobby for a long time. I think he realized that I can basically chew on any task thrown at me.

This led to me getting a task of developing a portable backend application basically by myself with freedom of doing it "whatever way I think will work". Decided to go with Rust and rightfully so - as it's released, it's a very lightweight, fast and super reliable application and is being used in production, even deployment went smooth.

I did some other applications based on Rust for internal company tasks and overall think, that thought definitely not a pro, but a good Rust developer. I also wrote my first library and even got some stars and recognition from people for whom this library was made.

But now I'm in a bit of confusing situation. Having almost a year in Rust by itself, having successful public project, being (imo) overall a good developer and employee, I can't get any interviews for weeks now, while actively looking for a job.

I ask seniors Rust devs for help, with what they think I can do to promote myself and I ask my fellow juniors how are they doing and maybe, what helped them land a job.

Peace & Love
