How do compilers split stack and heap memory?
Hey, I wonder how compilers know how much memory stack and heap memory will need? As I know, heap memory is dynamic so it may change up to the requirements. But how does the compiler decide to give how much memory to the stack? Sorry for my of knowledge of the fundamentals of computing. I'm here to learn! Btw, I switched from Typescript, so don't go too hard on me.
