Does Rust have an equivalent to C's #if?
I know that Rust has macros and conditional compilation based on features, and they're cool. I was wondering how can we check that the value of a constant respects some condition at compile time, tho. Basically, an equivalent of the preprocessor directive #if in C. The only thing I was able to find is the static\_assertions crate which is handy and does basically what I was talking about, but looking at the source code for const\_assert we can see that it uses some kind of trick to ensure compile time checking of the value. This makes me think that Rust simply does not have an #if equivalent. Is this correct?
