Rust finally clicked for me

That's it. It's middle of the night here, and I just really wanted to share this, and offer thanks to the community here and on r/learnrust.

I'm an old chap: I've programmed in ten different languages, done a lot of coding in C++ and Java. Found Rust rather hard at first because it felt really weird letting go of paradigms that have been familiar for decades. Didn't realise I was still trying to write C/C++ code, just translated into Rust. But it finally clicked for me, and honestly love the elegance. Can't remember when I was last this excited about a new language.
