When is it the time to use a parsing framework like nom, instead of a handwritten one?

Hi, from time to time, I need to implement FromStr for simple structs and fn parse_command(). These things are not difficult to write with iterators, though I don't feel them robust or ideal.

I would like to know, when should one switch to nom? I.e. expecting the "command" to become complex scripts
